Teachers and counselors give excellent feedback on grammar, clarity, and overall writing. But, they aren’t strangers reading your teen’s work for the first time. I’ll be meeting your teen for the first time through their application and reviewing the application through the lens of selective college admissions. I focus on storytelling, impact, and application strategy, ensuring every section highlights your teen’s unique strengths and potential.
-
Admissions officers review thousands of applications each year—small tweaks in clarity, structure, or storytelling can make the difference between “good” and “exceptional.” This review gives you the confidence that your teen’s achievements shine in the best possible way. No matter the outcome, you’ll know that you did everything you could do!

After you select your package, you’ll be directed to schedule your session with me. Sessions are focused and efficient, and you’ll get a clear, actionable feedback so revisions can happen on your schedule. If your application is already strong, you should be ready to submit your polished applications within a week of our session.

I am always honest with my reviews. If a personal statement would benefit from more self-reflection, I’ll help you with strategies to uncover the missing components.

I’ll provide feedback that is clear for you to do on your own. Sometimes, teens need a little extra hand-holding. If you’d like more of my support while making these changes, I am happy to work with you — if — we can coordinate times that work. I cannot guarantee that I will have availability during the times you are available. If your senior is able to meet during the school day (e.g. going in a little late or coming home a little early), we will have more flexibility. My after-school and weekend availability in October and November is very limited. Additional support is $247 per hour.
