After 3 hours with me, you’ll walk away with a personalized list of meaningful criteria and the tools to make sense from college websites, including:

  • To date, I’ve supported nearly 1,000 students with their personal statements. Good writing is not the same as insightful writing. While you (or your teen’s English teacher) can help with the writing, let me help with the insight.

    Regardless of how your teen feels about writing, I’ll help them lead them through a three stage process that helps teens create a personal statement that they are excited to write and proud to show off.

    If you are interested in personal statement coaching, we’ll start with my time-honed questionnaire for parents and teens. Then, we’ll meet virtually to talk through your responses. I’ll ask questions and help you connect the dots. Once we identify the topic of your essay that feels right, you’ll go off and write your story! If you’d like more support, I can provide coaching to help with time management, writing strategies, as well as editing from your lousy first draft to a polished masterpiece.

  • Whether you’re a teen, college student, or adult, following your passions is easier said than done. If you aren’t sure how to translate your passions into a career - or if you want your passions to remain hobbies and not become your work identity, figuring out your next steps can be tough. If you're feeling stuck, I’ve got you.

    During one-on-one coaching, we’ll develop:
